Inspiration, travels and the incredible country that is Scotland

The 'Gloomy Pony' artwork was inspired by a trip to Shetland and the work was based on a very friendly and far too upbeat little guy that was a little prone to nibbling and chasing people, yet when it came to creating the artwork the purple colours and details in his hair, really leant itself to creating a more moody or atmospheric/gloomy landscape, leading to the thinking behind the title of the work.
